Volunteer Opportunities

There are many ways that you can volunteer with ASLA!

• Volunteer with the network closest to you - ASLA volunteers come from all areas of science and technology and work in their communities to provide the knowledge, skills and expertise to answer questions, make classroom visits, provide hands-on science experience, judge science fairs, conduct field trips, aid in curriculum development, and nurture budding young scientists and technologists. Time commitments are flexible.
• Sit on a network board - give direction and leadership to science outreach in your community.
• Join the ASLA board - help raise awareness and funds at the provincial level.

Become a Member of ASLA

If you belong to a scientific society or association that is dedicated to scientific literacy and outreach in the Province of Alberta, your association may be eligible to become an Affiliate Member of ASLA.

ASLA also invites interested individuals or corporations to become Supporting Members.
